5. What documents are required for the initial application?

At the first stage, applicants are asked to submit:

- a project concept note (max. 1 page) including a brief budget outline

- a short CV (for individual applicants) or

- a short organizational profile or portfolio (for organizations).

No additional documents are required at this stage.

6. Is there a specific applications template?

No. The foundation intentionally does not prescribe a fixed template. Applicants are encouraged to structure their concept notes clearly and to demonstrate how the proposed project contributes to the dissemination of feminist ideas and to the common good, addressing in particular:

- the feminist relevance of the project and its societal context

- the project idea and objectives, including its intended public or collective dimension

- the planned activities and forms of dissemination or engagement

- an indicative timeline and budget overview.

Projects should make clear how their outcomes extend beyond the applicant's immediate context and contribute to public discourse, awareness, or broader social understanding.

7. What is the key guiding question applicants should consider?

Applicants are strongly encouraged to reflect on the following guiding question when preparing their concept note: How does this project contribute to the dissemination of feminist ideas and to the common good?

FCP supports projects whose relevance extends beyond individual, internal, or purely organizational interests. Successful applications clearly demonstrate how the proposed work engages with broader societal contexts, public discourse, collective reflection, or shared understanding related to feminist issues and gender equality.

8. In which language must the application and the project be submitted?

- Application language: All application materials (concept note, budget overview, CV or organizational profile) must be submitted in English. This ensures a fair and consistent evaluation process.

- Project language: The project itself may be carried out in any language.

- Publication and dissemination: For documentation, reporting, and public communication purposes, funded projects are required to provide English-language materials (e.g. summaries, abstracts, documentation, or selected outputs) that allow the foundation to communicate the project internationally.
